Happiness
Flourishing, rather than constant pleasure: resources, relationships, meaning, engagement and a contribution to the systems we belong to.
What flourishing means
To flourish is, quite literally, to bloom.
In positive psychology, flourishing describes a deep, multidimensional state of wellbeing: more than experiencing pleasant emotions, it means realising our potential, building meaningful relationships, finding meaning in life, being guided by purpose and challenging goals, and growing as human beings.
Flourishing does not mean being happy all the time. It means creating the conditions to become all that we can be.
The Applied Science of Happiness studies and promotes the conditions that support this process, turning them into practical programmes and experiences in life, relationships, organisations and hospitality.
The Applied Science of Happiness is a discipline: four areas that share the same scientific and methodological foundations. Find the one that speaks to you.

Hospitality and the human experience
Guest experience, hospitality psychology, inclusion and people development in tourism and hospitality.
